The Trollbox is a gathering place for people with a passion for crypto and a love for Poloniex. In order to keep this community productive and inclusive for all, we have set some community standards that we ask all participants to adhere to.
No hate speech - Hate speech in the Trollbox will not be tolerated, period. This includes, but is not limited to hate speech related to race, ethnicity, gender, religion, etc. Aggressive attacks or undervaluing other community members is not what we’re about. Treat others as you’d like to be treated, and in short: Troll kindly.
No spamming - Please don’t spam the Trollbox with advertisements, fund/donation requests, referral links, support ticket queries, etc. Continuously violating this expectation will only result in you being banned. The trollbox is for community, communication and fun, not business.
No Personal Information - Keep yours and others’ personal information safe. That means names, addresses, balances, wallet addresses, etc. We’re all for open conversations and discussions, but protect and value your privacy. We cannot delete nor hide messages so please be cautious about what you share.
No attempts to manipulate the market - We all love talking about the crypto markets, but a line is crossed when you attempt to manipulate a market by, for example, continuously referencing pumps, dumps, lambo, moon, etc, or coordinating trading activity with others. This behavior will result in a ban from the Trollbox.
Language - We love having a diverse, international community. That said, as our moderators are native English speakers. We respectfully ask Trollbox users to communicate in English so our Moderators can ensure the discussion isn’t violating any of these community standards. If English is not your primary language and there is something you need assistance with, please feel free to log a ticket on our Support Center.
Links - We allow you to post links in the Trollbox, but maintain the right and ability to take that away. Don’t post links leading to viruses, executable files, etc. or you will be banned. If you are a member and are lead to believe another member is conducting nefarious behavior, please report it to us by logging a ticket on our Support Center.
Keep it legal - Conversations about illegal activity will not be tolerated. This includes, but is not limited to conversations about drugs, pornography, weapons, terrorism, human trafficking, money laundering, extortion, blackmailing, etc. Direct or indirect threats of any kind made to any community member or Moderator will result in a ban from the Trollbox.
Support - Please keep in mind that the Trollbox is not a forum for support. Any support requests, complaints, and/or GDPR requests should be submitted to our Support Center and our support team will be happy to help.
Have fun - We’re happy to provide a forum where traders can interact with their community, and share their opinions, insights and enthusiasm.
Moderators ban at their own discretion, and are there to keep the peace.
